Review on CERRXIAN RJ45 Coupler Female to Female Network Surge Protector - Outdoor Ethernet Arrester Protection Device Extension Adapter (2-Pack) by Christopher Wiggins

Tried 2 other surge arresters. One switched the signal from 4 to 5. The other didn't switch signals but didn't work in my setup. Maybe I should explain my setup. I have a microwave antenna that picks up the signal from my ISP and converts it to an ethernet signal. We live on a mountain in Tennessee that is often struck by lightning. So I really need lightning protection for every wire connection. Using the ethernet signal from the antenna, I connect to an unmanned 8 RJ45 ethernet switch that provides my EERO gateway and fiber optic connection to my office. The remaining 2 arresters did not work. This seems to transfer the Ethernet signal perfectly. It is not connected to ground. All other 2 are connected to ground. I don't know if it protects against lightning. If we have another thunderstorm with a storm cloud on the ground, I'll get back to you. Revain allows you to add reviews.
