I first decided on another similar lamp that was a bit cheaper. After opening the box and installing it, I found that the base of this lamp is very thin and easy to fall off. I finally settled on this lamp and am glad I did. The basis of this lamp is STRONG. This is a lot harder than I ever expected. It's nicely packaged (as shown in my photo) and assembly is easy enough once you figure out what to do. In fact, it's just a combination of 3 different parts together. See if you can place it where you want the lamp so you can adjust the lever and then screw it tight. The cable sticks out a lot (especially at the top) so I tried to bring it down a bit and had a hard time getting the cable down any further. But the cable itself is also of excellent quality; You can feel it when you catch it. It comes with lightbulbs, but I chose Hue lightbulbs to support the smart home ecosystem I already had. works fine with them. Overall a great lamp and I bought 2 to use as bedside lamps (IKEA stool). They match the aesthetic of my bedroom and look modern. I love her!
