Poor quality, don't buy

Got a pump and used it to transfer gas between tanks. The first four 6 gallon tanks worked great. After that the pump was dead. I changed the batteries and still died. I called Revain and they allowed the return but I had to pay for shipping. The shipping cost was over $10. I only paid 13.00 for it. I disassembled it to fix the pump. I have found the following manufacturing defects: 1. Poor soldering on the positive wire of the PCB.2. The insulation of the positive cable (red cable) connected to the circuit board is damaged. This wire also had a short piece of excess wire that went nowhere which could cause a short.3. Poor soldering of the negative wire (white).4. With this repair, the pump still did not work. The ohmmeter still showed a break in the electric pump.5. I removed the pump from the black air intake and applied battery voltage directly to the motor. Still not working.6. I opened up the motor and found that one of the brushes was installed incorrectly. There are two sets of brushes, each with three fingers that touch the commutator. Two fingers of a brush did not touch the commutator. I put the fingers back into the manifold and reassembled the pump. The pump is now working, but very weakly. This pump was made cheaply with poor quality control.
