These glasses seem strong enough for the price. I haven't had a lens pop out or break my hands like other buyers. But they have a strange optical effect. I first noticed this when doing carpentry work, looked at my work and thought the board was deformed. The board literally arched towards me from both ends. When I took off the glasses, it became clear that this was an optical effect due to the uneven processing of the lens. As long as your subject is directly in front of you, like on a computer screen, you're fine, but the lens edge distortion gets annoying after a while. You get what you pay for.
