Review on Layrite Original Pomade, Burnt Orange 4.25 oz: Superior Styling for All Hair Types! by Dianna Carr

Rinses off, smells great, blotchy coverage

After switching from gel this year I tried a few lipsticks before settling on Layrite. My method was simple: try several brands from the store and increase (price) until I was satisfied with one of them. Layrite hits the mark in many ways and I'm sticking with it for now. The best part I think is that it rinses off really well and feels very light without being sticky or greasy. Some pomades (or putty or whatever) I've used have been pretty shampoo resistant and stay on my hair. It washes off the first time, no problem. Old Spice and Battle Born fell into the category of opposites. As others have noted, the smell is great. It's a sweet, light scent that manufacturers refer to as "light cream soda". I could say cake or something cute and inviting. I have now bought two of these. The first came about 3/4 diagonally into the bank. The second came full and even, which made me question the value of the first. Layrite is a hit with me and I'm going to stick with it!
