Perfect for short hair
Bought the last one from Sally Beauty Supply yesterday and used it for the first time today. Really makes straightening my short hair easier compared to the 1 inch flat iron I already have. I didn't get burned - hooray! It's very hard to find a 1/2" size so I figured it would be best to order another one as a backup. Maybe it's too early to give 5 stars but if it lasts that long like my current 1" straightener, then 5 stars remain. Update 11/08/2017: Still works great!
