Good things first: It's cheap and easy to install. The specs mean it can handle larger phones even when they're in a protective case. Unfortunately, there are two key issues with this that are leading me to start looking for a replacement in just a matter of weeks. Suburban road, the bracket does not have enough support to prevent the phone from slipping. When I rode the train, I had to change the mounting position about every 30 minutes. The clasp is as tight as it can be. Second, my Galaxy S9 is in a hard protective case (Supcase). This is well within the published size limits for this holder. But it's been less than two weeks since I bought it and the phone has jumped out of its holder three times while driving. One of the bottom corners snaps behind the phone and the phone is supported by only one bracket. If I get it in time it's easy to put it back on, but if I don't it takes a hit and my phone falls out. I don't ride extreme terrain, mountain biking or anything like that. 90% of my trips are on suburban roads and well-maintained railroad tracks (a mix of pavement, concrete, firm dirt, and firm gravel) at an average speed of 12-13 miles per hour. This is probably normal for those who drive slowly and stay on paved roads, but I don't trust it anymore. I am now looking for a replacement.
