The comb is very nice. I get lots of compliments every time I wear it. The comb is a bit heavy, but I usually put it in a bun with lots of bobby pins or on top of a french braid - that seems to be enough to support it. I have very fine hair and it fits comfortably. I often wear a comb at work – I'm a paramedic and I move around a lot; The comb stays in place throughout my shift. The only downside is that the bubble level doesn't sit very well on the plastic comb; however, he shows no signs of falling. I would buy this again. It will be a great addition to your collection of vintage accessories. I wish they would make more of these combs with different embellishments!
