What can a fan give you for $2.50?
Temperature drop of 30 degrees Celsius. Under load on an RPI 3b with a heatsink running Ubuntu Mate, which is more resource-hungry than Raspbian, I regularly throttled. Now I can't get it above 53C. Also, set it to RPI 3b with RetroPie, which is hot to the touch in 5 minutes. Now the old games are back in fashion.
