My previous wall panel had a crack and a small piece of plastic was missing from the jack's connection hole, causing my phone jack to keep falling out of the socket. Wall. I researched carefully to find a replacement and bought this because the size, screw holes, and phone mounting screws matched the plate I was replacing exactly. When I received the plate I followed the instructions exactly and was able to install the hardware correctly. However, my internal wiring didn't match the wiring in the instructions and I couldn't connect the wiring and couldn't get a ready signal. I had to hire a phone repairman to get the wiring right and get my phone service working on that line again.
