First off, unlike most reviewers, let me point out that this review was written in a hurry as I'm sitting on my living room floor in frustration. I don't normally write reviews, but as I sit here and accept the reality that this product is a lot worse than it might seem when you first take it out of its bulky packaging, I can't help but steer you away. the same thing. First about all right. You will most likely benefit from it, everything will work fine and be happy for a long (enough) time. That's the problem. You spent over $400 on this piece that you assumed was made when you first got it. And then think of all the great mods you could make to improve it even more! For example, add a stick extension. Well, then attach a $50 extension to your $400 wand (for a combo) and hear a loud "pop" when you put it on, and not really hard I mean. They take this whole contraption apart and find that something called the "sphere of articulation" is broken. After two months of non-stop communication with "guillemot" (Thrumaster's French parent company) they charge you 40 euros (about $60 I think) to send you this tiny piece of plastic. yes plastic By the way, you noticed that about 80% of this thing was plastic when you disassembled it, and enough metal in all the right places to fool your hand and feel heavy. Even after you receive the part, you cannot reinstall it without cutting and splicing the wire. And to top it off, the little magnet that works with the potentiometer to send data to your computer has snapped off and it looks like it was held in place by melting the plastic. If you're unfamiliar with plastic melts, this is a term I just coined to describe poor quality plastic parts that are molded together using two or more pins that are inserted into matching holes in an adjacent part and then clicked on the melted on the other side to prevent failure. The only way to fix this is to replace the part or glue it with superglue. And they don't sell a piece! Conclusion: This will probably work fine. But if it doesn't, then for $400 you're absolutely not getting the support you deserve. You end up sitting on the floor wondering how to attach one piece of grease-covered plastic to another that you spent $400 on. I hope this helps you avoid this.
