1999 GMC Sierra 1500 4wd. Modify the trans lines by cutting a metal slot at the end, exposing a barbed fitting perfect for rubber tubing. Cheap clamps have to be in perfect condition or, like me, they will come loose during movement (twice). Temperatures are much better than the original 200-210 degrees and hotter with the original heatsink. Now the temperatures are around 160-170 degrees. Without a bypass, both lines go directly to the new cooler. Something to salvage the 4L60e gearbox because the hotter it gets the older the gearbox starts to look. This requires better fitting/clamping.
