I needed a cave for my Bolivian sheep to stay in. Although I try to keep all my tanks as natural as possible, this was a "fingers crossed and hope it looks real" sort of thing. Luckily it is. It harmonises perfectly with real wood. It is about 6 inches long and the hole is about an inch and a half high when pressed against the substrate. Perfect with beans, my Bolivian ram. He is always there and lets his girlfriend Korn come to visit. I could get her a suitable one. There's plenty of room to spawn when they eventually decide to do so. However, when I first opened it up, it was covered in sharp edges along the inside of the holes, and it took me about 10 minutes of sanding with a Dremel tool to get it secure. Not a big deal, but **don't buy this on a Betta unless you're willing to spend a few minutes polishing**. The little plastic plants are horribly ugly and funny, but I didn't buy this tree trunk for them, so I can't add anything to them. All in all a worthwhile buy for some Chinese resin. The water values have not changed, no paint chips or the like. Rams is happy, so I'm happy.
