Purchased for W203 engine. The original cables have been replaced by Bosch cables. Both original wires and Bosch wires could be easily removed with a 17mm wrench. I had trouble installing some Denso wires as they were too tight. Whether this was due to the rubber boot or a metal spark plug cap that was too tight could not be said. Had to remove Denso wires to change coil packs and found the 17mm tool didn't fit. Had the same problem as described in vC's comments. The metal sleeves were too wide for a 17mm tool. I wound it up with a 19mm wrench, but I had to fiddle a bit because it didn't have an offset like a 17mm tool. I contacted Denso and they replied that their product is within factory specs and I'm not sure why I'm having the problem. Looks like I won't be using Denso wires in the future as they are a direct replacement.
