I had a pre-existing cable running through the walls from my basement to my second floor bedroom that ran through my attic. I needed to run a cable to my upstairs office. I cut an existing attic in half and went from there to my office. Has worked flawlessly. Considering my internet connection is only 90, which is pretty fast for my region, 100 isn't a problem unless I've been transferring large files over my own network, which I'm not. The bandwidth is more than sufficient for HD videos, downloads and games. My latency is typically around 45ms (30 pings).
