I love K&H heated beds/cat warmers! We have two low beds that our cats find difficult to get out of when it's cold. When the brand had a sale, I knew I had to take advantage! I purchased one of the heating pads separately and have ready made fleece/foam covers that can be easily removed and washed for our reception room. I also bought this bed as a gift for my parents cats. I gave it to them today and they almost immediately sent a picture of one of their kittens already claiming to be theirs. Cats, gives me peace of mind that my kitties have something that will keep them comfortable without overheating and increasing our electric bills or creating a fire hazard. Cats LOVE this. My 17.5 year old older child with arthritis loves to curl up in the smaller bed and our two boys (a 12 lb 10 year old and a 4 month old kitten) tend to curl up to argue with the other. This third draft was obviously an instant hit as well. The variety of sizes and designs means most cats will find something they like. This particular bed is the best size in my opinion. We have two other K&H heater beds - this one is larger than a small round short sided bed (which is perfect for our 6 lb cat) and maybe a little smaller in diameter than the length of a large oval short sided bed ( that's perfect). for our larger 12 lb cat or for our kitty to stretch out fully). The cat pictured in this bed weighs 11 pounds and still has plenty of space. Savior for young kittens. We had a foster litter, 6 3 week old kittens and their mother during a severe cold snap. They were inside but as they were insulated and the room was cold at night I worried they wouldn't freeze. I think having the heating pad in the nest with them really helped keep them warm, especially when mom was about to eat or go to the tray. (We made sure they can crawl out of the nest onto another unheated towel if they get too hot) - Fully washable bed so you can remove the heating pad and toss the bed in the wash if needed. To be honest, I can't think of any cons. The beds aren't much more expensive than unheated beds you can buy at the pet store and cheaper than many boutique-style beds you can find. With all the benefits these beds bring and the fact that our cats took to them immediately, they are 100% worth their price and more. I can absolutely recommend them!
