Ideal as additional heating.
I love this heated air conditioner. The only issue I had was the electric heating element turning on when high wattage was first drawn. I opened the device and, according to the diagram, disconnected the wire that powered the electric heater. I'm pretty sure this will void the warranty even though it only draws around 600 watts now. I only bought it for the air conditioner and heat pump as I only use the heat in the off season when the air temp is above 40F.
