Review on ICON 01852 RV Skylight SL1824-24&#34 by Ben Demers

Although the current roof window in our camper van's shower has slightly different dimensions (18" x 21"), we chose this roof window in 24 x 18 customs decided. because it was the closest size we could find. Our original roof window consists of two parts: inner and outer. The interior fits into the outer part of the skylight, and both are a bit more boxy compared to this ICON skylight, which is a more gradual, more aerodynamic increase in height. Luckily we've been able to keep the inside of our skylight ever since. It wasn't cracked like the outside, but to keep it from touching ICON's new outside skylight, we installed our inside section about 1/2 inch lower than before and used an insert ring to accommodate the extra 1/2 inch. That this ICON skylight is a few inches longer than our original isn't a problem since it mounts entirely outside of the ceiling opening, so we'll just share the extra 3 inches of difference in length.
