When I first installed the official remote start system, I installed the Viper security and keyless entry system in the mr2 and made my own remote engine start with additional output options. I set this system to 01 is300, it was a bit of a hassle that the factory lock/unlock wasn't the main 'negative I/O', but it works and it helped a lot that this system has 2 sets of locks /unlock-issues had unlock wires. I found a better, much more informative online manual that will help you figure out exactly what each wire does, as well as a programming guide for all the options available. I also set up button start for my machine. For those who are electrically savvy it's kind of a god mode system with options 😅 Basically I got this system because my friend accidentally bought this system for his car and asked me to fit it and I just could not resist. but get one too. Definitely a great buy!
