Does everything as advertised: I used photo and video mode, motion detection and night vision. Decent sound and video quality. Great little device for the price. The only thing I found is that you can't use night vision when the included cable is connected to the camera (it doesn't even need to be connected to the other end). Night vision either doesn't turn on (press and hold power for 3 seconds and release, nothing happens) or it turns off (if it's already on). Reviewer Jack P. also noted this behavior. I'm not sure why this limitation exists. I was planning to use this as a "play cam" with night vision/motion detection at night to film animals. But the inability to use night vision when plugged into power means it's not up to the job. This would be a 5 star rating if the night vision works when plugged in.
