OK - much of what is said here is true. These don't last long. Inside is a plastic bracket that keeps your thumb straight. It works really well but the material on the inside cracks after prolonged use. I have tried all of the tendonitis braces sold by Revain and I keep coming back to these. I draw on the computer all day. With these braces and my economical Goldtouch mouse, I can do it. So I don't care that I have to keep changing these braces, the other option would be surgery. So throwing away a $13 clip when it breaks is a very small price to pay! 5 stars for comfort! Minus one star for the monthly replacement.
