Replaced igniter with LG LDG4315ST - Top oven not baking

LG LDG4315ST purchased in 2017 and 2021 the wife informed me that the top oven was not baking (the broiler was still working). I called LG and of course it's not a guarantee. Called LG support and used Smart Diagnosis on the phone and they said it was either a heating element or an igniter. I tried the LG app which found no error. Decided to replace the igniter as it was the cheapest option and after watching a youtube video it seemed easy enough. After disassembling the simple parts of the top screws and other screws holding the plate in place, I stumbled upon the original igniter which I couldn't easily get to with wrenches. It took me a while to realize that the igniter was attached to the gas line and needs to be removed together, so don't try to remove the igniter. In my photos you can see the bracket that holds the gas line. Remove the screw so you can remove the gas line and igniter, which are then accessible from the outside of the stove. So before you take everything out, remove the wires and use a wrench on the outside of the stove to remove the igniter. Install a new igniter (different from the original) and reattach the gas line bracket. Fasten all other screws and hopefully this works for you. I've searched for this and couldn't find a solution, so I hope this helps others. It's a do-it-yourself job, but not as easy as simply removing the igniter.
