The best of the mediocre, it doesn't get any better than this

This is an HDMI junction box. It does what it says, it expands one HDMI port on the TV to 5 different HDMI ports, giving me more ports to use. Unlike many other switches, I have no problem getting 4K content through this box, so that's a good thing. You can choose which HDMI port you want to use by pressing the buttons on the remote control. It also has a button on the device itself, so it's a good backup if you lose your remote. Unfortunately, the remote control is thin and cheap. The battery is included, which is good, but it's an odd size. The junction box itself is very light and is often lugged around by the weight of HDMI cables, so make sure it's somehow stable on the shelf. I wish TV manufacturers had put more connectors into their TVs! HDMI connectors are more useful than channel numbers these days. It would be great if channel buttons on TV remotes could just toggle HDMI ports instead. It's amazing that HDMI switches are such a small industry these days that there aren't any well-known brands to buy, it's always weird, non-branded, weird enough. This HDMI switch seems to be the best of the mediocre, though, so we've got that until a bigger brand comes up with a better one.
