Review on Innocn 13.3-Inch Portable USB-C OLED Monitor - Editing Friendly with 60Hz and 1MS Refresh Rate for Mac and PC - Model 13K1F by Seth Budd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Pretty good for the price

I bought this 13.3 inch mainly to connect to my iPhone XS. I travel a lot and like to watch/stream movies. I connect it to a 300 watt hour battery and it draws 4 watts when the scene is mostly dark and up to 7 watts in bright scenes. As other reviewers point out, use a high-power USB port or plug the included peripheral into a power outlet. Black levels are excellent, better than the iPad mini 6. Not as good as my LG c1 but close. If the original content is high quality (1080p or higher), then the picture quality is phenomenal. Especially when viewed in the dark. Conversely, if the source is low-quality YouTube videos, it doesn't look good. Viewing with a lot of light creates a lot of reflections. Poorly. Specific annoyance with iPhone + T-Mobile: Some apps like Prime Video and Paramount Plus showed static images or didn't play at all. I only mention this because another reviewer said they went static, so maybe they experienced that? It's not the monitors cause I tested my iPhone on a TV with the same result. I wanted to return it because it had connection issues once but it hasn't happened again so I'm keeping it to myself. This monitor comes with the Nintendo Switch and Xbox X series. Both have amazing picture quality, too bad the speaker is tinny. I think that's fine, but if audio is important to you, use headphones. Thanks for reading and be sure to read other reviews to know what you are getting.
