My 5 year old is on the autism spectrum and is struggling to get more protein in his food. He loves carbs like macaroni and cheese, but no more. I figured it might be thin enough to add to mac and cheese to increase the amount of protein, so I started with a 1/2 serving. nope He refused. His younger brothers aged 3 and almost 2, who usually eat anything, at least tried it but then spat it out again. He accepts what is. rice flour. It's not subtle except in very small amounts. that you then wonder what the point is. I'll probably save this for when one of my dogs has an upset stomach, like when I mix rice in their food. they will probably agree with it. Unfortunately, children will not have it. I CAN add it to a shake or smoothie, but then I'm giving them extra sugar that they don't normally get. Worth a try but just doesn't work for us.
