Review on πŸ’¨ Remington Salon Collection Air3D Hair Dryer - Quiet 1760W Ceramic Blow Dryer, D7777, White by Laura Pena

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Well made high tech hair dryer

I usually use a Revlon hair dryer which I am very attached to because the lower of the two speeds works best for me. It's the usual option, except it has some kind of ceramic/metal switch that says "volume" or "smooth". To be honest I don't see any difference in my hair and I think all I like about this dryer is the lower fan speed and heat. I like. When I saw this new so-called 3D dryer from Remington, I was intrigued. Remington usually makes good hair clippers (I have two), but they're not known for pushing the technology to its limits. This hair dryer looks and reads like a whole new approach to blow drying. I think Remington got his dose of Dyson Kool-Aid and here's the result! In the end, all that matters is that it's easy to use and dries my hair well while still being in control (i.e. not like the fast and wild blow dry that makes my hair warm and disobedient). . I am happy to say that I really like this hair dryer. The feel of the dryer in your hand is unique. It's not a long gun and the weight balance is perfectly in hand. The dryer isn't very light which means there's something inside the compact dryer I'm guessing. All I know is that I like the slow speed and first level of the two heat settings. This is the first hair dryer where I can comfortably use a diffuser due to its compact size and perfect weight distribution. I have a feeling the airflow is reminiscent of the wind tunnel fans first made by this unnamed company. Again, this is a hair dryer with a smoothing metallurgical focus, which may be part of its charm (I'm still not entirely convinced) but all I know is a super-premium, highly functional hand-held hair dryer. I haven't seen the actual price here at Revain, but I've seen it somewhere around $200. The tech inside may very well be worth every penny but I'm giving it one star because I wouldn't be willing to pay that much and I think it will give others more than a little respite. If price weren't an issue it would be a full 5 stars as it is without a doubt the best hair dryer I have ever used.

Pros
  • Soft Conditioning Technology with Ceramic + Titanium Grill
Cons
