I have bought many different Govee strips over the years and this latest version has clearly the worst colors of any other strip. My others only work via Bluetooth and this one includes Wi-Fi, not sure if this affects the quality of the LEDs? Must not be! Orange is far from orange - is it closer to lime green? The first image I added shows what orange looks like in real life. The light bar can't even come close to what should be orange and doesn't look like my other bars. Yellow also looks green. Purple looks blue. See second picture. Red looks red. See third picture. These strips don't get as bright as the previous strips I bought. And the palette of "adjustable" colors is very narrow. I would say there are probably around 8 unique colors with very few colors in between. Do the lights flicker randomly too? They turn on by themselves and go into "music mode" which I never use. So I need to go into this app and reset it to the color theme I had. I am very disappointed with this change in quality. I used to recommend Govee to EVERYONE - friends, people on the internet, bought a few as gifts but I can't recommend them more with this change in quality. I want to love this glowing tape but it just doesn't fit anymore. Adhesion, ease of installation and ease of use all get 5 stars because it stayed the same. But I give the whole product 1 star because of quality change. If the quality improves I will be happy to support Govee again.
