Media could not be loaded. I was very excited to find the indoor bug zapper. I didn't know it existed. The block is larger than I expected, but not so big that it's unusable. If you plug it into the top socket, you can still use the bottom one. The 3-position rocker switch on the side includes three modes: 1) blue light, private mode, 2) orange night light, private mode, and 3) off. After a few days of use I didn't think it would work but I looked inside and saw what turned out to be very small bugs on the underside that had been stabbed. The thing is very quiet and makes no noise at all. We have one in the bathroom and if you go there at night the blue lights look like black lights. Also, they're a bit intense when the flash is at eye level and aimed at you when you're on the toilet. So in this case you have to switch it to night light mode or turn it off. Overall, this is a solid, well-made product that does its job while looking pretty cool. You get 3 units in a box, so you can put them around the house. I haven't had to get rid of the bugs yet, so I can't say if it will be easy, difficult, or different. That's a great idea and also a great gift idea for people with kids who always come in and don't close the door all the way or something. I'd be wary of placing them in the garage next to flammable liquids in case they catch fire when a bug walks in, but that's just me (I'm too careful with fire safety).
