Good first impression

This review is based on first impressions only. I am 14 lbs 23 inches (aged 2 months) he is 12 weeks old. Based on the reviews I chose a 3-9 month old bag. As you can see I had to roll up the sleeve about 1.5 to 2 inches. The body in the bag is long and not too narrow. Lots of room to grow. I measured just over 27 inches from shoulder to bottom but the fabric is very stretchy. If you have a particularly wide toddler build, this may not last long. The hole under the neck confuses me a little, it doesn't seem very big, but there is room to grow. Inside the bag is soft even before washing. The stars are a bit textured, but not terrible. They are the same weight as 100% cotton zippers. Maybe a little thicker. Seems to be a good year round option for kids like mine who like to have their hands covered but have a warmer climate/home. Based on previous reviews I plan to wash in cold water and line dry as it is 100% cotton. I will update if there are any problems with the zipper. Edited: First wash was cold and air dried. No noticeable shrinkage or knocking of the zipper. On the second wash, the husband forgot to take off the sleeping bag and dried it on an ordinary fire. It didn't look like she sat down, but there was a small bundle with a zipper. It is not enough to affect functionality. But for best results, wash in cold water and air dry.
