Old model but I like it. Especially as a set for the first time. When you epilate for the first time, yes, it really hurts. There will be pain, tears, maybe some blood. You'll swear in words you didn't know and after all your hard work you'll look like a plucked chicken and maybe even feel a little stubbly. BUT I don't think any device does it better when it comes to pulling hairs from the roots with rotating tweezers. If you're old enough, just take a picture of Sailor Jerry. Sprinkle baby powder on the area to be epilated and get started. Keep some coconut oil and aloe vera gel handy to soothe your skin when you're done. witch hazel to keep it clean later. You will recover very well. The more often you do this, the smoother you'll become and the less it will hurt. The included cooling gel pack is amazing. You can trim your hair with a trimmer. When you get used to epilation, you can replace the massage head with a more effective one. It's very easy to clean and I'm glad I went that route instead of waxing because honestly I find waxing messy, hot and uncomfortable. If waxing isn't for you and you're tired of shaving, give it a try.
