I argued for a long time which of these to buy (plastic, metal with legs, transparent, color.) and in the end I had to stop at a cheap and possibly , a workaround. So far nothing has to be configured. I thought I could end up with felt or something on the bottom but it doesn't budge. Somehow. Technically, this contradicts the laws of physics. (because it doesn't slide on glass at all). And I only store electronics in it. Three tablets, a phone and a charger.
