Cannot give 5 stars for the installation as the instructions are a bit unclear. Silicone blades work very well, should last longer than standard rubber. 4 stars instead of 5 for ease of installation is really due to the need to chemically pre-treat the windshield. I did not expect this. So if you had to replace them in a hurry when your regular wiper broke, you were out of luck or reduced efficiency. Because I did this replacement over a sunny weekend, I had time to clean and treat the windshield as directed. The leaf spring had enough force to wipe well with no streaks or gaps. The silicone forms a small layer on the windshield that aids in removing the rain cover. You can definitely tell this by the arc the sheets cover compared to the top and side of the windshield. Couldn't get the Silblades blades for my Renegade so decided to try them out, glad I did.
