Review on 🎮 8BitDo Pro 2 Gray Edition: Bluetooth Controller for Nintendo Switch/Switch OLED, PC, macOS, Android, Steam & Raspberry Pi by Fernando Hudson

Just a quick review as it's available now. For the price of this controller, you get more features than most other controllers. Can run on a Mac Switch or Android PC, you can use it wired or wirelessly with Bluetooth (which I didn't experience any noticeable lag with). It has a claimed 20 hour battery life. It features USB C and can be replaced with regular dual batteries. It met all the requirements I had for the controller. The inputs are also mostly very good. Every brand of analog sticks they use is extremely sensitive and has very little dead zone and you can use dedicated software for free with the controller to set up your dead zone and store it in the controller as well as any other button bindings you want 3 different profiles for every single device you connect it to, plus 2 macro buttons on the rear handle. The triggers on the back, the buttons on the front of the controller and the shoulder buttons feel comfortable. (not the best, but good). Oddly enough, I've never felt any other D-Pad feel as good as this one. There are a few strange things worth mentioning. For some reason the tension on each analog stick feels slightly different. It's extremely minor, but it's there. The right side of the clamshell for the controller seems perfect, but the left side where the 2 plastic parts of the clamshell shell meet just feels like hair. I mean literally just a hair, if you didn't intentionally rub your fingers on that part of the controller you'd never feel it. I hope they fix the small quality issues I've found in the future, but in terms of how well the controller holds together it seems solid. Considering those two small issues I mentioned, this is still an absolute buy just for the feature set. If you don't need to buy anything that works with Sony or Microsoft consuls, this controller can be bought for less than $100 and can also compete with some expensive high-end/pro controllers. I highly recommend you consider this controller at the top of your list if you're looking to buy one. Thank you for reading!
