Review on Design House 561191 Dalton Finish by Tanya Barker

Ordered on 10/07/2016. Today, 11/12/2016, the seat jumped IN HALF! I doubt I can return a toilet seat that has been used for a month but I will not be buying this brand again. There were no instructions in the box as I am writing this review. How difficult is it to install a toilet seat? Not really, but there were plastic washers and it's not explained if they're on top of the seat between the hinge and the toilet, or on the bottom between the toilet and the screws. Two screws, two plastic washers and two bolts make up the entire hardware. Regardless, I've tried both "configurations" and found the fit no tighter than the other way around.
