This blanket is exactly what I wanted for my cat house. The top tier is round with a 3 inch border around it, but it had no padding. I needed a small blanket but didn't want it to fill up the space too much. I threw this blanket over him and hugged him. bottom, like the bottom layer of a cake where it hangs a little on the sides. I was afraid my cat would rip it off if she jumped this step, but she doesn't and loves it. I have the sherpa side up and she kneads it forever and then falls asleep. This works perfectly for her.
