I received three collars for my Scotties. They both work great, but the Scotty boy is a bit taller and his collar doesn't match. It was right on the 12 1/2" neckline for a small collar so I'm going back and getting a medium collar. They have an open and close lock so you can't open it easily, a child can use this collar doesn't open with a lock which is nice! If you want it has a little bow for your tokens in a pretty design! The skin is super soft. I bought my first Scotty this amazing leather collar and wanted a lifetime collar for these boys. I don't think this is a lifetime collar but it may work for a year or two, I will contact you about this.Overall I am very happy with the collar and the price is great!The rescue collar I bought for my second Scotty have cost $100!I have only run collared scots and so far so good they are young and still pulling so no issues with wear.I will probably get a Ges use chirr for walking as they pull so hard not to strain my neck but i am happy with these collars! I really spent a lot of time looking for red collars and I'm glad I got them! Good price and good quality. If your dog has a 12-1/2" neck size, go for a medium size, the small size probably won't fit.
