I think this is a good camera for the money. However, there are some things that you need to get used to. First, it uses a European (?) date marker, with the first month being followed by the day rather than month-day-year. In addition, the time is displayed in hours, minutes and seconds. So if you are used to our system, you can easily get confused when setting the date. It's easy to confuse seconds with minutes when setting the delay. Once you did that it works fine but I had to go back to the camera and reset the delay date and time. That's all behind us. The camera takes very good pictures. High pixel images but you can see they are pretty good. Night shots are good too, I have the maximum number of pixels on my newest camera and you can tell a small difference. Another difference from my other cameras, and my last purchase was probably my 15th-17th camera purchase in the last 15 years, is the difference in lens setup. The images posted show that it has a wide-angle lens that shifts the central focus a little further back but offers a wider view. As I view my photos on my computer, I can enlarge the photos for a closer view if desired. The camera uses the maximum number of batteries, but they last a long time. The only problem is if you make the mistake of setting the delay time in seconds and minutes and you end up taking a lot of shots. (2000+) Everything else about the camera is nice, size, mount and menu once you get used to it. I've had several popular camera brands, from the first to use flashlight (D-cell) batteries, regular flash, LED flash, black LED flash, slow lens, some blur, slow shutter speed, and instant shutter speed. So far these cameras have worked well and I haven't had any problems. I've been in the oldest cell for about a year. The operating time has not yet been determined. I would give five stars if it weren't for the initially annoying menu settings, time and date. Skipjack
