Review on 🐾 RIOGOO Pet Heating Pad: Auto Power Off Electric Heating Mat for Indoor Dogs and Cats by Stacy Brooks

We received this product two days ago. Let me explain why I ordered it. My 14 year old Jack Russell and I just moved to Oklahoma from Florida. She has never experienced the cold and does not understand what is happening. She used to sleep on my bed and let me wrap her in a blanket, but she's old and often naughty and won't let me touch her, freaks! She has a special dog bed with blankets on the floor next to my bed, but her fur was cold when I touched her at night. It was too hot for me to leave the heating on. I tried using a heating pad for a few days and she seemed to like it but I knew it wasn't safe for her. This does not overheat and the info says it will never get hotter than your body temperature. It's cool to the touch, but once you put your hand on it for a few minutes, you'll feel warm. I cover her with a very thin blanket so she can sleep on it. She seems quite happy and warm (and is usually quite moody at this age) and loves to lie on top of him. I love that it has an auto shut off. So if I forget to turn it off, it turns itself off. The best part is she doesn't get burns or overheat as we know they can't tell us if she's too hot and could hurt herself but I know she will be safe and warm now.
