Overall I am very satisfied with this product and give it 5/5 stars. The webcam is very easy to connect and use. It comes with an extra camera cover, which I used at first but only took off because I thought it looked aesthetically cooler without the cover (it looks like a toilet seat cover, but I didn't take it off for that reason). . It looks very good, doesn't protrude too much from the back, is well built, is solid, doesn't wobble when you're typing on your computer, is easy to use and simply better than the one built into your laptop. If you're looking for an upgrade and don't want to spend more than $50, this is a very good option. I used this camera for a week in virtual happy hours, zooming in with friends, and video conferencing for work. As you can see it fits perfectly on a Macbook and any laptop, or if you want to put it on a desk that works too (very stable). The built-in microphone is great and people around you can hear you clearly. It's also useful for reducing the noise that laptop mics pick up when you're typing. If you take notes in VK, this is a very useful and underestimated feature. Others also noticed that they can hear me well thanks to the webcam's built-in microphone. When the webcam is at the top of the screen, it also covers your laptop's camera when the camera is at the top, so you know instantly if you're using the right camera. The camera also lights up. when connected but not lit. I thought it would be nice if the light could stay on with an option to turn it off, but it doesn't break the deal or ruin the customer experience. The image quality from the camera is fantastic and WAY better than the camera on a MacBook or laptop. At 1080p and 30fps you get the same specs as the Logitech C920, which is currently over three times the price on Amazon (78° camera angle on the C920, not 70° on the AWC205, which I don't know how much it will change). Whether you're just looking for the best image/video quality camera for less than $50, this camera makes the list. As for Zoom, I particularly liked the HD option this camera has. This makes the camera's field of view even wider and sharper, and I found that to be a really nice feature. The quality of the video can be judged by the two attached images. The image with a larger angle and a clearer image is from the video captured by the AWC205 webcam. If you use the built-in camera, you'll notice that the image is grainier and not as scaled down. If you are aware of how much space your face takes up during a call or how clear the image stream is, using this webcam will not only ensure that, but you will look much sharper and brighter on camera.
