It took me 1.5 hours to install. Remember that the two knockout holes are on the back, about 2-3 inches from each end. My existing wiring was in the middle of the cabinet so I had to drill a new hole. It's helpful to have a drill press and the right bits if you need to drill your own holes. The next one I need to replace has wires going through the endplate so I need to figure out how to drill a hole in the endplate - not that easy. I was pleased with the ease with which the two pieces fit together once the lid was roughly attached to the case and the wiring completed. The two bolts and two nuts are very small and awkward to handle (upside down with limited visibility). I was expecting the wiring to get in the way of installing bolts/nuts, but it was easy! The excellent price and savings on electrics justify all efforts.
