Revain Review 11/09/2020 for Raspberry Pi Pi 4 Case - Red/White, RPI4-CASE-RW. The Pi4 gets pretty hot compared to its predecessors (a firmware update might fix the issue somewhat). For example, by hot I mean that a USB 3.0 stick is painfully hot to the touch. The case doesn't help, since it's a closed plastic insulating box with no vents. The RPI Foundation may claim everything is fine based on their technical analysis, but I still think it's better to have more cooling. A case with a fan is best, possibly with a heat sink. Also, the single board computer is not very securely fixed inside the case. While this would require the use of a screwdriver, I think it would be better to have a case that holds the board in place with small screws.
