Where should I start. It's a tiny computer designed primarily for business users but would be a great addition to a home where video is the norm, basic photo editing for enthusiasts, handymen, a home where you bring a lot of work home (MS Office ) and your free time average played game. This computer is the right one for each of them. This computer has a few "cons" but I won't downgrade the 5 star rating as the listing doesn't imply that this computer is anything more than a business computer and in that regard it excels. Pros: Price for this setup. A basic little Inspiron on the manufacturer's website costs about $150 less at the time of writing, but money isn't everything. you can't build there. The one you built there doesn't have an SSD, 12 gigabytes or RAM, and if you upgrade to Win10 Pro like this one, you already have a difference of only $80. continuation of the price. Warranty and service yes if you add 2 years to the included site service plan you pay more and still no ssd and 12 gigs ramSpecs it's i5 so while not the best this particular i5 9400 is a brand new chip 9th generation with integrated Intel UHD graphics. So if you have a 4k monitor it will work without any issues. 12 gigabytes of RAM is enough for most users, both DIMM slots are occupied (1x16 and 1x4), if you need 32 gigabytes, because your photo editing software works better, you need a 1Gig chip, but 4 more will be added. Maybe you have a friend with a 4Gig system? It has all the standard slots you are used to. Many business users are still using excellent monitors that are more than 5 years old. It has both USB 3.0 ports on the front and the backs are re 2.0 but most people plug a printer, mouse and keyboard into the pack all the time, the front ones are used for hard drives, the 5-in 1-Media Reader is the SD card reader with a fancy term. If you still have an MMC card then ok, but most people have a micro SD that goes into the SD adapter. It has 2 PCI expansion slots. but they are short guys, but then again. Companies will not buy these systems for performance. Additional Cons: (again, not a big deal for business use, but for those looking for a good performing device that worries you a bit) HDMI out, but no DP. Yes it would be nice to have a displayport output and get rid of VGAI Small, yes it's a feat but it also makes it harder to get updates (video card for 2 monitors) but there are cards that are capable of two displayports in total this is a RELIABLE system that is great for a student or mainstream home computer, it is compact, easy to install and takes up minimal space, is quiet and performs well in most scenarios where performance is required.
