The first disadvantage - actually only two things made me give it 4 stars instead of 5. This is NOT a comforter. This quilt is printed to look like a quilt. Please note this. It says "full and queen". I have a full one and it barely covers both sides of the bed. If another person were in bed with me, one of us would be freezing all the time. So be sure to buy more if you have a big bed - or two people full. But now the good things! I wasn't sure when I opened it up and discovered it was actually just a thin blanket. It was very viscous and smelled like funk (similar to gasoline). I washed it a few times, let it air dry and the stiffness and smell went away. And now he's so soft! I slept in it last night and it's exactly what I wanted for the summer months to come - light enough not to melt me and heavy enough to help me sleep. It's also reversible if that's of interest. The other side is green with white zigzag lines. I also like that the covers have zippers. I have memory foam pillows that always pop out of their pillow cases. The blocks are also double sided with the same two designs.
