I was surprised. The spot where the hook was still looks.
These hooks worked so well. I put one on my black front door in December and January when it was 5 to 68 degrees. Not only did it stay and hold my decorative wreath (which wasn't easy!), but as I was about to remove the hook and matching sticker, I was certain that with all the temperature swings this year, there would be a mark. Nothing, absolutely nothing! I was surprised. The spot where the hook was still looks brand new and has no damage, discoloration, grease or anything else from the hook. Now it's time for me to knit future wreaths!
