Misleading description

Seems like a great price for a smart 8 port charger. However, this is NOT a smart charger. This charger has a fixed 10 hour timer. In theory, slow charging, like in this case, is better to extend battery life. However, if you overcharge your batteries because you can't tell if they really need to be charged, you could shorten their lifespan and thus negate the benefit of slow charging. This makes the great "value" of this product a real waste of money. I can't tell you which one to choose, but get one that actually tells you the state of charge of the single battery and also automatically disables charging on its single port when fully charged. It would be great if the information in the table were consistently compared taking these characteristics into account. Several other problems. It didn't come with an owner's manual, so I went to the manufacturer's site to download it. The page has a Download Manual Here section with the download manual in blue and the text "Here" in plain black. It is logical to assume that the blue writing indicates a direct link to the manual. Not correct! It's a simple black font "Here" which is a direct link to the manual. The product also has two numbers: TN145 and model #01145. Please tell me if I'm wrong, but perhaps a model number would suffice and reduce confusion. If you then read the markings for this model, point 4 clearly states that there is a green light to let you know when charging is complete. NOT SO! There are NO GREEN LIGHTS in this model. This device will charge for 10 hours regardless of battery condition. Overcharged or undercharged, they will get 10 hours of juice. In my book this is a silly product for pennies and pounds.
