I bought this bed because I like the shape and didn't pay attention to how thin it can be and how flat it can be. When I first received the bed my first thought was that I really hope it will inflate more or regain its shape. thinner and flatter side. I was originally planning on using a medium sized dog bed, but I don't think it's thick enough to provide enough padding. So I let my parrot use it instead. My pompom eats fluffy bedding and this fabric is a little thicker and he hasn't shown any desire to chew on it so far, so that's good. Due to the material it is also easy to clean in my opinion. You can just throw everything in the washer and dryer. Cool design, just wish it had more toppings.
