Review on Rechargeable Cordless Electric Professional Adjustable by Sherri Radermacher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than expected

My last electric file was so weak and anemic that it stopped abruptly every time you pressed it against your heel with any hardness. So I had low expectations from it and certainly didn't expect it to have that much torque. You can press it against your leg with some decent pressure and it will keep moving. The design isn't great, but it's not terrible either. This is good for hard foot areas like heel and flanks. But in flexible areas, like the edges of the toes, the long bar shape is awkward and imprecise. It says it's USB rechargeable, and it *is* true. But the connector isn't mini, micro, or USB-C. This is a plug, and the end of *this* cable plugs into a USB port. For example on your laptop or TV. Therefore, you will need an available USB port or a USB wall charger if you want to charge this device. Finally, the hilarious (not at all hilarious) jokes kick in when you encounter two equally sized unmarked holes in the base of the device. A port for charging. Another random screw. Literally identical. See for yourself in my attached photos.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • makes me nervous
