We liked this painting at first sight. We believed that the picture should be good and our belief was justified because the picture turned out great. Did you have any difficulties along the way? Only one. Wow, there are many flowers. That aside, this painting was fun to paint and would work great in many rooms in the house, including the kid's room. All goodies were in the package. There was the obligatory self-adhesive canvas, the ubiquitous green diamond tray, a setter pen, wax, and a seemingly endless supply of plastic diamonds. In fact, we still had a lot of diamonds left at the end of the project, which is good. Too many diamonds are better than too few. There are other accessories to complete the diamond paintings and since we've done so much we have a few accessories that we bought separately. Our favorite accessory is a light pillow. Our first lightweight mat was an A size. We later bought a B size mat. Significant prefers an A size pillow because it's easier to maneuver than a B size pillow, although she likes both. Our two light pads are magnetic and have variable light intensity. We use the highest intensity almost exclusively because the highest intensity is best for us to be able to see the characters on the screen. We have other useful accessories, the most useful of which is a roller to press the diamonds deep into the glue for durability. Other accessories include adjustment tools to lift and move diamonds from their preferred position, and spray adhesive to further secure the diamonds on the canvas. The spray should only be used outdoors as the odor is quite strong. We also found some plastic organizers that will come in handy for organizing our diamonds. We've also tried resealable bags, but plastic trays are easier to use. This particular diamond painting was one of the longest due to the large number of colors. Many diamond paintings can be completed in a few days. This special diamond painting took about three days with 5-7 hours work per day. So if you work an hour a day, it can take two to three weeks to finish this painting. The finished painting looks great. Because the castle looks like Disney, it's probably more appropriate for a child's room, playroom, or family room. On the other hand, people who like fantasy, fantasy castles, maybe just want this image for every room in the house. Or frame a picture and give it to someone special who appreciates locks. Our appreciation based on the current price is above average. We have seen 12" x 16" diamond painting prices much higher than this diamond painting price, and few diamond paintings of the same size at a lower price than this diamond painting. Our overall rating is five stars. Completing a diamond painting with the same number of colors as this painting was challenging and a lot of fun. Working on this painting was a great way to spend many hours. Even better, the painting looks good, one of the best paintings we have ever done. This framed picture will fit into many spaces or make a wonderful gift for the right person. Enjoy!
