File and data corruption after a few months of use

I've been a Sandisk fan for years and buy many terabytes of storage in many forms. I started with them in photography and I can count on their quality compared to other brands. I didn't mind paying a premium because protecting my data and files was more important. This is the first time I've had a big problem, and it's insidious. After a few months of ownership I had an issue with a file getting corrupt on save with no error message or notice. When you come back a few hours later, the file is either missing data or unreadable at all, and all my work is lost.
