So I installed this in an 18 x 20 shed where we work on four wheelers etc. I hooked up a 3 way electrical splitter and was hoping to put a large fan and light on it. that when my son is not working with his toys, he switches himself off. Kids are notorious for not paying attention to utility bills and the wear and tear of appliances. The fact that it turns on and stays on while it's there and turns off when it goes is the main reason I bought it. I installed the sensor in the roof supports pointing through the center of the canopy. I think I got it right because it turns on and stays on all the time when you're in the area. I am very happy with this purchase.
